Here's how you can continue to support The ThousandKites.org Community Restoration Campaign legislative advocacy - Keep up the calls and online support.  The goal is for thousands of calls and online contact during the next couple days and ongoing until the bill is passed and signed into law.

  •  Now we need to flood the phone lines of key Committee members who can move our bill forward.  

    Here is a short script to read each committee member when they answer the phone.  Leaving a message is fine.  Call anytime.  Flood their answering machines!!!

    My name is ___ , I’m calling from _____, VA, and I wanted to share my support for SB796.  I want the state to be financially responsible in how we handle corrections and our judicial system.  SB796 will support common sense criminal justice policy, while making sure that those who are returning to our communities from prison have a better chance of being successful and contributing as taxpayers.  Please vote in favor of SB796.
