NYS Parole Reform Campaign

Taking it to the airwaves

On Thursday morning, January 26 from 10 to 11 AM, Judith Brink, director of Prison Action Network, will be a guest on Tell It Like It Is, a weekly radio program that "engages listeners in a conversation on issues of international, national, and local importance.

Guests range from local activists to notable national and international figures. The program aims to bring voices, opinions, and issues traditionally excluded from mainstream media outlets to our community's airwaves." As you may imagine Judith will be talking about the Parole-DOCS merger, the governor's changes to the Parole Statute and the reason we need the SAFE Parole Act. If you live in Greene or Columbia Counties you will be able to listen to it live at 90.7 FM. If you have a loved one incarcerated in those counties (Hudson C.F., Coxsackie and Greene come to mind, but we don't know if they have access to the station) please tell them about it. Tell It Like It Is is available live on the station's website: www.WGXC.org, and will be archived there in the future.

Call-ins are possible; the number will be announced on the air.

Hope you can tune in!

Judith
