Welcome.

In the midst of “New York State Parole Campaign,” activists record a story at the state capitol that exemplifies their legislative effort. Video is shared via an email blast, Twitter, and Facebook and links directly back to the campaign site.

Grassroots organizers use video in the Virginia “Community Restoration Campaign” to speak directly to their base.

Paul Wright of Prison Legal News, is interviewed at the Allied Media Conference “Resisting the Incarceration Nation,” as part of a workshop brainstorming communication strategies for the justice sector.

The Media Literacy Project staff uses video to request calls for a radio broadcast.

The Media Literacy Project in Albuquerque, New Mexico gathers stories from their community in order to create an online “storybank” for advocacy campaigns. Their goal was to spark a dialogue using the power of spoken word.
