Governor-elect's Plans for Reentry [HQ]

It appears that Virginia's Governor campaigned on issues of prisoner reentry and unification.  Is this motivation for the general public to move toward a more restorative approach to public safety?  How do you feel about  these changes in Virginia?  Is this a real movement toward restorative justice?  Can we sustain this this new direction?
