At first the system did not acknowledge that he had that illness, due to the fact that at the jail they left out his paperwork for medications. I had to call the Senator, Congressman, Governor to help me get the help for my son. None of them helped except for Senator's office they made some calls. I joined a group JDMC to assist with medical issue for inmates. My son got beaten up twice in prison and the guards and wardens would cover all this up even when I visited my son and saw his face all bruised up and cut lip he fell is what they said. Once inmates are in there if they do not have a voice on the outside they will do whatever they want with them, cause they think nobody cares. My son is in there due to the Law of Parties and he got the higher sentence then the ones that actually did the crime, but we have no money to hire good attorney and they did what they wanted, just hope and pray I am alive when he comes out to rejoice,.My story is longer but had to cut it short.
